Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Optima Mental Healthcare Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand the needs of clients, including couples therapy sessions as well as individual session plans.

• Developing and implementing tailored therapeutic interventions to address a wide range of mental health concerns such as alcohol abuse, family conflicts, grief, job stress, and issues related to separation or divorce.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques suited for working with diverse family dynamics and issues.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely client documentation and progress notes in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Participating in regular clinical supervision and peer consultations to ensure ongoing development and adherence to best practices in therapy.

• Actively engaging in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse population of clients, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing challenges such as conflicts among family members, communication difficulties, grief and loss, adjustment to separation or divorce, and blended family transitions. You will play a vital role in guiding these individuals through their therapeutic processes to help them achieve healthier relationships and improved mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
