About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to serve as its primary ambassador and executive leader. The CEO will be responsible for the delivery of the organization's mission, ensuring the health of the organization, and driving strategic growth to achieve sustained community impact. This role involves leading the development and execution of multi-year strategic and annual operating plans, aligning programs with community needs, and maintaining long-term financial sustainability. The successful candidate will also be tasked with leading a small, high-performing team, stewarding major donor and partner relationships, and overseeing the quality of programming and services. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in relevant sectors such as nonprofits, education, libraries, museums, community development, or startups. The role requires a deep commitment to the organization's mission, vision, and values, as well as the ability to inspire, communicate, and build strong relationships. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, capable of executing with discipline and clarity. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree being a plus, and bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential. The CEO will also be responsible for fundraising, managing donor relations, and serving as the primary spokesperson to enhance the organization's brand and presence.
