Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) in a travel assignment, based in Laramie, Wyoming, United States. Start date: 09/21/2026. Duration: 8 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a rotating shift in a hospital setting. This travel role focuses on obstetric care with NICU/special care nursery experience required.

Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for labor, delivery, and related neonatal care within scope of practice.
- Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders; educate patients and families according to needs.
- Coordinate the healthcare team and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel; ensure smooth continuity of care.
- Support patients undergoing labor and delivery, including NICU/special care nursery considerations as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support unit operations and patient wellness.

Requirements
- Current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming and in good standing.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- NICU/Special Care Nursery experience required.
- Previous hospital experience preferred; ability to work effectively in a hospital setting and coordinate with the care team.
- If performing circulating or recovery duties for C-sections, ACLS certification must be current; NRP certification must be maintained.
