Accounting & Office Administrator: Invoicing, AP & Vendor Mgmt

Accounting and Office Administrator FLSA Status: Exempt Job Purpose The Accounting and Office Administrator provides administrative and accounting support to ensure efficient office operations and accurate, timely financial data. Duties and Responsibilities Answer company phone and direct calls appropriately. Order office supplies and manage office vendors. Act as the first point of contact for office visitors. Receive, sort, and distribute mail. Generate monthly contract invoices. Set-up and maintain vendors. Process corporate accounts payable. Review daily deposits and process banking transactions. Maintain fixed asset records. Assist Corporate Accounting Manager with month end close. Provide support to other managers in accounting as needed. Qualifications Associates Degree Three years of experience working in an office Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers verbally, in writing, by telephone, and face-to-face professionally and with a customer service perspective. Proficiency in MS Office Applications Proficiency in cloud-based CRM applications Working conditions Physical Demands and Work Environment A team member must meet the physical demands and work environment characteristics described here to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. Physical demands While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to sit; walk; stand for up to seven (7) hours at a time; use hands to handle objects; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, talk, and hear. The team member must occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include vision and the ability to read documents and a computer screen. Must be able to use a keyboard and monitor. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Work environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to a noise level that is usually minimal to moderate. Reports To This position reports to the Corporate Accounting Manager.
