Accounting Assistant – Hans Biomed USA Hans Biomed USA is a global biopharma company specializing in biologics, medical devices, and cosmeceuticals. Based in Santa Fe Springs, California, the company focuses on regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our finance team. This entry-to-mid level role offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on accounting experience in a fast‑growing biotech and medical device company. Key Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, including invoice entry, payment processing, and collections follow‑up. Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes. Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. File sales tax reports and assist with other regulatory filings. Maintain organized financial records and documentation. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed. Collaborate with other departments to gather information and resolve accounting inquiries. Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documents. Communicate with Korean headquarters on accounting matters as required. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcome). 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships or part‑time experience considered). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar. Basic knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a deadline‑driven environment. Excellent communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with ERP systems. Knowledge of multi‑state or international tax compliance. Interest in the medical device or biotech industry.
