Accounting Assistant

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Accounting Assistant in Los Angeles, CA. Requirements Required Knowledge/Experience: Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Analytical skills, including research, ability to interpret data, and ability to analyze information. Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook and Word). Ability to handle, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet all deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven knowledge of standard payroll concepts, practices, and procedures. Strong knowledge in multi-state payroll. Assist with the preparation and processing of weekly accounting for multiple companies with multi-state reporting. Responsibilities Monitor submission of timesheets to ensure completion and review accuracy of approved timesheets. Assist with processing payroll and submitting payroll reports Assist with processing all special payroll deductions such as garnishments and benefit adjustments in an accurate and timely manner. Process accurate and timely year-end reporting. Education Accredited High School/GED; BS preferred Shift 5 Days/40 Hrs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
