Work Environment

Your work will be conducted onsite in our comfortable outpatient office, where you will have access to cutting-edge therapeutic equipment and treatment technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions through detailed medical histories and specialized assessments.
• Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans, incorporating patient and family input in the goal-setting process.
• Implement treatment protocols tailored to the patient's specific evaluation findings, adjusting strategies as necessary based on patient progress.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities, ensuring optimal outcomes for each patient.
• Continuously educate patients and their families on treatment options, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
• Engage in regular consultations with other healthcare professionals to discuss and refine approaches to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients experiencing musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and chronic pain issues. Our patient population is diverse, ranging from children with developmental challenges to older adults managing the effects of aging. Your ability to tailor treatment plans according to the unique needs of each patient will be crucial in enhancing their recovery and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive patient relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient setting, particularly with chiropractic care or scoliosis management, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
