Our clinic features a spacious 5,000-square-foot layout designed to encourage optimal patient interaction and healing. We value our team of professionals, which currently includes two other experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all of whom are committed to delivering superior patient outcomes.

Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite and involves direct interaction with patients in our orthopedic outpatient clinic. You will be required to manage a structured schedule while adhering to our clinic's operational standards. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable and predictable work environment conducive to fostering professional relationships with both patients and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the individual goals and needs of patients, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient workload of one person per hour to ensure personalized attention and care.
• Employ advanced skills in orthopedic solutions to improve patients' mobility and overall well-being.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities to develop efficient and cost-effective treatment regimens.
• Focus on non-surgical alternatives to reduce reliance on medications while ensuring optimal recovery.
• Design comprehensive care plans incorporating various treatment methodologies suited to individual patients.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs that target specific patient needs and challenges.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while continuously motivating patients for improved functional performance.
• Enhance patients' lifestyles by promoting increases in strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive patient care approach.
• Conduct continuous evaluations of treatment effectiveness, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered and facilitate effective communication with both patients and healthcare team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We cater to patients seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferable.
• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in Suffolk, VA.
• No previous board actions or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Expertise in developing and implementing effective exercise routines tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy is highly desirable.
• Ability to efficiently manage a high-volume patient caseload.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and interdisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits
