After hours Emergency Service is addressed through our phone system which will put any customer in need of service directly in touch with an on-call Technician. The HVAC/R Service Technician's responsibility is to provide high-quality heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration services to commercial customers using expertise in HVAC systems and troubleshooting.Responsibilities:Installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance services for commercial refrigeration and HVAC systemsCommercial/industrial customers include restaurant equipment, convenience stores, cold storage facilities, distribution companies, and super market refrigerationTroubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems to including split systems, chillers, packaged units, oil- and gas-fired boilers and control systemsFood service preparation equipmentAbility to work with tablet-based service ticket software system for all HVAC/R work performedPerform HVAC/R preventative maintenance service for contract customersAbility to work overtime as needed and be part of a scheduled HVAC/R on-call rotationMinimum Qualifications:Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED3+ years of HVAC/R ServicePreferred Qualifications:3+ years of commercial refrigeration experienceCommercial and residential air conditioning and gas/oil heat service experienceCommercial and/or residential HVAC replacement experienceFood service equipment experienceUnderstanding of control systems and wiringEPA certificationProfessional, ethical, and a team player willing to grow with the companyEarn up to $48.73 per hour + plus ability to earn higher + union benefits packageQualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.Rewarding your performance:Competitive salary, commensurate with experienceCompany paid vacation and holidaysCompany health care, vision, & dental benefits401k plan with Company matchCompany paid life insuranceEducation and training provided with monetary incentives available for education courses completedEligible for performance and company-based bonusesG.E.
