Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting financial schedules. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal control requirements. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and analysis. Perform financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making. Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and operational objectives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff. Support strategic accounting projects and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. Serve as a trusted resource and subject matter expert in the Accountant III position.Qualifications for the Accountant IIIBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required. 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience. CPA license preferred or equivalent professional certification. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance activities. Proficiency with ERP systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
