About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Restructuring Investment Banking division. The successful candidate will be part of a strategic advisory firm that specializes in complex transactions, capital structure challenges, and transformative situations. This role offers the opportunity to work with a high-caliber team and gain direct exposure to a range of stakeholders, including boards, management teams, creditors, lenders, and investors. The Vice President will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including building and maintaining detailed financial models, conducting due diligence on distressed companies, performing valuation analyses, and preparing materials for various committees and business development. The role also involves supporting live restructuring processes, coordinating with legal and financial advisors, and monitoring distressed credits. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' of relevant experience, with a strong background in in-court and out-of-court restructurings, advanced financial modeling, and a deep understanding of distressed debt and credit analysis. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in investment banking, turnaround advisory, or distressed investing, and possess advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a CFA or CPA certification, or those making progress toward such designations. The role demands exceptional communication, project management, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
