Marketing Specialist

3 Mark Financial is seeking a part-time Marketing Specialist to support the day-to-day execution of our marketing initiatives. This role will work closely with the Vice President of Marketing and is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. The Marketing Specialist will primarily focus on the tactical execution of established marketing strategies and programs, helping keep recurring communications, campaigns, events, digital content, and prospecting initiatives moving forward. This is initially a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role as responsibilities and organizational needs evolve. Key Responsibilities Marketing Communications: Assist with the creation, coordination, and distribution of recurring marketing communications, including the weekly Producer Essentials newsletter, Carrier Spotlights, email campaigns, and other producer-facing materials. Database & Prospecting Support: Build, organize, clean, and segment producer and prospect lists to support marketing, recruiting, and sales initiatives. Digital & Social Media: Execute social media activity based on established strategy and content direction, and assist with basic website updates, landing pages, and other digital marketing needs. Conferences & Events: Support company conference/s, webinars, meetings, and events, including communications, attendee lists, marketing materials, presentations, signage, and other logistical needs. General Marketing & Apex Support: Provide day-to-day support for marketing priorities and Apex initiatives, helping coordinate projects, maintain marketing assets and calendars, and keep activities organized and on schedule. Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Strong written communication and proofreading skills. Comfortable learning and working with marketing platforms, CRM systems, email tools, websites, and other technology. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage multiple projects and recurring deadlines simultaneously. Comfortable working independently while taking direction and collaborating with others. Willingness to learn new systems and take on additional responsibilities as the role grows. Experience in marketing, communications, financial services, insurance, CRM/email marketing platforms, social media, or website content management is helpful but not required. What Success Looks Like The right person for this role will help keep the marketing function organized, responsive, and moving forward. Success means recurring marketing activities are completed accurately and on time, campaigns are executed efficiently, information stays organized, and the VP of Marketing has greater capacity to focus on strategy, growth initiatives, and higher-level projects.
