Senior Accountant

We’re partnering with a growing organization seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support financial reporting, compliance, and corporate accounting functions. This role offers a mix of technical accounting, process improvement, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial reports, filings, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors
• Assist with tax-related filings, provisions, and related reconciliations
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and drive efficiencies
• Stay current on accounting guidance and regulatory updates
• Manage, train, and review work performed by junior accounting staff

Additional Responsibilities:

• Partner with leadership on reporting and compliance initiatives
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting
• Support month-end close activities, including:
• Accruals and general ledger entries
• Investment-related accounting and reconciliations
• Fixed asset accounting and subledger maintenance
• Income tax calculations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Various journal entries and account reconciliations
