Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Business Analyst with a major corporation in Orlando, FL. Onsite Mon-Thurs, remote on Fridays. Job Summary: Will work with different teams to gather requirements. They will need to capture the requirements and break them down into user stories. They will manage from inception to implementation using Jira (not required but nice to have). Some level of UAT. Theme park experience is preferred but not required. Experience with sales, web, and mobile tech is ideal.

Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. The Business Analyst engages the clients to document and edit business requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations; documents project testing efforts; works in conjunction with the project manager to ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. They will need experience with traditional waterfall and agile as they will likely be using both in this space. Would like to see experience with web, mobile, and salesforce (not required but would be great).

• Previous experience as a Technical Product Owner or in a highly technical BA role.
• An understanding of what happens "under the hood" within software and platform development.
• Knowledge of development processes, technical architecture, and engineering workflows.

Relevant Project Experience: Experience with initiatives such as:

• Developer portals Observability platforms
• Monitoring dashboards
• Alerting and reporting solutions
• Developer experience (DevEx) tools and platforms

Soft Skills Needed:

• Outgoing and able to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• An excellent communicator who can adjust their messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Naturally curious and comfortable asking probing questions to gather information and uncover requirements.
• Collaborative and effective at working across multiple teams.

Education: A bachelor's degree in business or related field or an MBA is preferred.
