Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Michigan Special Education Teacher License required
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience working with middle school and high school students preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, special education compliance, and instructional accommodations
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students in grades 7-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports academic and social-emotional growth

- Pay Rate: $45-$60 hourly
