Own Projects, Diverse Commercial work and Career Growth Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year A bit about us We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join a growing Atlanta-based commercial general contractor and take ownership of projects from preconstruction through final completion. This is an opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys working closely with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams and who understands how to manage the financial, contractual, scheduling, and operational sides of a commercial construction project. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders. Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, contracts, and performance. Review and manage project budgets, cost reports, commitments, and projections. Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Superintendent and project team. Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation. Review plans and specifications for potential cost, schedule, and constructability issues. Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders. Work closely with the Superintendent to ensure field operations align with project goals. Monitor project financial performance and identify potential issues before they impact profitability. Coordinate design issues and assist with resolution of field conflicts. Manage project closeout, punch list, warranties, documentation, and turnover. Maintain strong client relationships and help create opportunities for repeat business. Job Details 5+ years of commercial construction experience. Previous experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Construction Project Manager with a General Contractor. Proven ability to manage commercial projects from preconstruction through completion. Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and project controls. Experience managing subcontractors and vendors. Strong understanding of plans, specifications, drawings, and construction documents. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining project profitability and client satisfaction. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required with strong experience. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
