Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Great Valley Psychotherapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and evaluations of clients’ needs, establishing treatment goals that are tailored to individual circumstances.
\n
• Providing culturally sensitive therapy to clients via individual, couple, and family sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR.
\n
• Facilitating psychoeducational workshops and support groups for children, adolescents, and families.
\n
• Maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and recommendations, ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld at all times.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers and outside providers, to enhance integrated care and achieve positive client outcomes.
\n
• Regularly evaluating and adjusting treatment plans based on progress and feedback, engaging clients in their therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied patient population, including children, adolescents, and families from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Each client will come with unique presenting issues, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and adjustment challenges. This role requires a genuine commitment to understanding and respecting each client's individual context and cultural nuances in their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active, unrestricted LMFT license to practice in New York.
\n
• Demonstrable proficiency in both Spanish and English, enabling effective communication and understanding across language barriers.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services in a behavioral health setting.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize and provide compassionate care to clients from varied backgrounds.

• Capability to utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other related software.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences would enhance your candidacy:

• Specialization in trauma-informed care, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience in providing remote therapy services.
\n
• Previous work as an in-network provider within insurance panels for better client access to services.

• Completion of HIPAA compliance training is essential for maintaining confidentiality standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with an attractive sign-on bonus.
