About the Role Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Community Sports Facilitator to help organize and run local sports activities in Queenstown . This role is perfect for someone passionate about getting people active and involved in sports at a grassroots level. You will work with various community groups, schools, and local clubs to deliver engaging sports sessions and events. Your efforts will directly contribute to promoting a healthier lifestyle and fostering a sense of community through sport in the Eastern Cape region. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and deliver inclusive community sports programs and activities. Engage with participants of all ages and abilities, ensuring a positive and safe experience. Assist in the coordination of local sports events, tournaments and fun days. Collaborate with community leaders and stakeholders to identify local sports needs. Promote participation in sports and encourage healthy lifestyle choices. Maintain equipment and ensure safe use of sports facilities. Requirements Experience in coaching or facilitating sports activities, especially with youth or community groups. Knowledge of various sports and recreational activities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse groups. Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends. A passion for community development and promoting active lifestyles. First Aid or coaching certifications are advantageous. Benefits Flexible part-time working hours.
