Lab Technician

Subsidiary Superior Aluminum Alloys Overview This person will be responsuble for verifying production samples' accuracy for meeting specs and reporting nonconformities. Responsibilities Verify production samples meet customer specifications and report nonconformities; maintain sample records, certificates of analysis, and statistical data. Analyze receiving, purchasing, and sales samples for chemical composition and recovery rates. Review and update laboratory work instructions and procedures. Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and related documentation. Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed. Qualifications 1–2 years of metal chemistry knowledge or laboratory experience preferred. Strong verbal communication skills. Strong written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft 365. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong mathematical skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
