Analyst III

Job Overview Job Title: Analyst III (Classification: ANALYST III) under the Filing Analysis and Budget Unit (FABU) Manager and the Lead Revenue Analyst. The Analyst III independently performs complex analytical duties to support the Filing Division Chief and other senior managers with resource and fiscal management. Responsibilities The Analyst III provides guidance and support in the planning, development, implementation, and coordination of activities associated with Personal Services, Operation Expense & Equipment (OE&E), and Revenue. The Analyst III supports the Lead Revenue Analyst and Senior Budget Specialists and acts on behalf of the division in the completion of various issue papers and projects related to the implementation of new processes, technology, and systems. The Analyst III is required to communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely, both in writing and verbally, to obtain and share information and give instructions to customers and stakeholders. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: All experience and education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to clearly demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications and Alternate Range Placement for the position on your State Application (STD Form 678). Desirable Qualifications include: Outstanding customer service and negotiation skills, including the ability to collaborate with all levels of management. Effective time management and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation and technical coaching skills. Experience in the development of forecasting and tracking spreadsheets. Experience working on projects and/or Enterprise Teams and facilitating team meetings. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and in a team environment. Ability to analyze information, utilize good judgment, develop alternatives, make recommendations, and take effective actions. Ability to present complex quantitative and qualitative data visually using charts, graphs, and other appropriate methods to complete reports and/or develop presentations. Ability to prepare and present technical reports and make recommendations. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work well under pressure to meet quick deadlines. Ability to exercise initiative and flexibility, and demonstrate tact. Ability to articulate information in a clear, concise, and professional manner in a public setting. Ability to develop, analyze, and interpret complex research findings. Ability to gain and maintain the confidence and cooperation of others, including various levels of management. Ability to develop and prioritize short-range and long-range plans and schedules that coordinate with operating goals and objectives of the department. Knowledge of Filing Division's policies and programs. Knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.). Knowledge of Tableau. Knowledge of Business Objects.
