We’re looking for a strategic, people-focused Manager of Benefits & HCM Administration to take the lead in optimizing our HR systems, benefits programs, and administrative processes across multiple locations.

This is more than a benefits role. You’ll be a key leader in building an exceptional employee experience, strengthening HR operations, developing your team, and ensuring our people programs are ready for the future.

What You’ll Own

HCM Strategy & Administration

• Lead the development and implementation of HR system procedures and strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee day-to-day HCM and benefits system maintenance, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a seamless employee experience.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data integrity, and maximize HCM capabilities.
• Support change management initiatives, organizational restructuring, and other business-critical HR projects.

Benefits Leadership

• Own the administration of comprehensive employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, leave programs, and wellness initiatives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors, brokers, and partners.
• Lead annual benefits renewal and open enrollment from strategy through execution.
• Ensure benefits programs remain compliant with applicable regulations, including ACA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
• Help employees understand their benefits and provide responsive, solutions-oriented support for questions, claims, and complex issues.

Lead & Develop the Team

• Supervise, coach, and develop HCM and system administration team members.
• Set clear expectations and foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide meaningful training and development opportunities.
• Ensure the team delivers timely, accurate, and high-quality HR administration.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Stay current on federal, state, and local employment and benefits regulations.
• Partner across HR and the organization to maintain compliance and reduce risk.
• Prepare for and support audits involving HR, benefits, systems, and employee records.
• Establish strong processes and controls that protect both the organization and its employees.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Strong experience in benefits administration and HCM administration.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
• Frequent use of computer and office equipment.
• May be required to attend events or meetings outside of standard business hours.
