Tamil-English Language Evaluator for AI Training

Help improve Tamil language understanding and generation in next-generation AI systems by applying your native language expertise to real-world audio evaluations. This remote contract role focuses on assessing Tamil speech and providing precise English-language feedback that supports high-quality model training. Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Tamil audio clips and assess the nativeness and fluency of speakers or model outputs.
• Evaluate pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity using established guidelines.
• Document clear, concise assessments in English, identifying relevant linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed reasoning for each evaluation to support consistent, understandable results.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in language content.
• Share insights that help strengthen AI performance in Tamil understanding and generation.
• Complete assigned audio-review work accurately and on time while maintaining high quality standards.

• Native-level Tamil proficiency, including strong spoken and written command of the language.
• At least B2 English proficiency, particularly for written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain subtle linguistic distinctions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and accuracy.
• Experience in audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
• Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music or audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is an asset.
• No prior AI experience is required.

• Remote contract engagement.

• $30 to $65 per hour.
