Tamil-English Language Evaluator for AI Training

Help improve Tamil language understanding and generation in next-generation AI systems by evaluating Tamil audio and delivering clear, evidence-based feedback. This remote contract role focuses on linguistic authenticity, audio quality, and precise written assessments in English. Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Tamil audio clips and assess the speaker or model output for nativeness and fluency.
• Evaluate pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity using established guidelines.
• Document concise English-language feedback that identifies relevant linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed justification for each assessment to support consistent, clear results.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in language content.
• Share insights that support improved AI performance in Tamil language understanding and generation.
• Complete assigned audio-review tasks accurately and on time while maintaining high quality standards.

• Native-level Tamil proficiency, including strong spoken and written skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above, particularly for written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain nuanced linguistic differences clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
• Experience in audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
• A background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music or audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is an asset.
• No previous AI experience is required.

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

• $30 to $65 per hour.
