Key Responsibilities\n

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, you will engage in a variety of clinical responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs, histories, and treatment goals.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, offering both joint and individual sessions to address unique dynamics and concerns.
\n
• Developing treatment plans that respect the family's dynamics, working through issues such as communication difficulties, conflicts, job stress, and adjustment to separation and divorce.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to effectively treat patients facing challenges such as grief and loss, alcohol abuse, and psychological issues.
\n
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals and other service providers to ensure integrated care for families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be on serving diverse populations, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will work with clients facing a variety of issues, such as:

• Substance abuse challenges and their impact on family structures.
\n
• Psychological and emotional crises stemming from grief and loss.
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts within family units, including issues among siblings or generational issues.

• Adjustments related to major life changes, including remarriage and blended family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for the role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Active Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence and a passion for patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome newly licensed candidates, we also value experienced therapists who have:

• Experience working with diverse populations and in various therapeutic contexts.

• Knowledge of teletherapy practices and flexible availability, ideally to provide 30 hours or more of client care per week.
