Active Life Rehab is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Morristown, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite position primarily focuses on delivering exceptional home care to our clients. Ideal candidates will bring a minimum of five years of clinical experience, comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy methodologies, and a passion for enhancing patients' quality of life.

Work Environment

Our work setting is primarily in the homes of patients, allowing us to provide therapy in a familiar environment that can enhance outcomes. The flexibility of our schedules accommodates both patient and therapist needs, focusing on a Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm workweek. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities to inform treatment planning.
• Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique rehabilitation goals and challenges.
• Utilize advanced physical therapy techniques, including hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, heat, ice, and electrical stimulation modalities, to manage pain and improve mobility.
• Educate patients on techniques for maintaining proper body mechanics, posture, and methods for preventing injuries.
• Track and document patients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Work alongside interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate and enhance comprehensive care.
• Ensure accurate and thorough clinical documentation, reflecting treatment interventions and patient responses within our electronic health record systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, those suffering from chronic pain, and elderly patients facing mobility challenges. Your expertise will help address a variety of conditions such as back and neck pain, osteoarthritis, sprains, strains, fractures, balance issues, and post-operative rehabilitation. Each interaction aims to foster trust, motivation, and empowerment for our patients as they progress in their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist and board certification through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Minimum five years of clinical experience demonstrating a proven ability to treat diverse conditions effectively.
• Proficiency in using advanced physical therapy modalities and techniques relevant to patient care.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing patient progress and adapting treatment strategies as required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health care settings is highly desirable and enhances the capability to provide effective, patient-centered interventions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for recording patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Evidence of continued education and training in the latest physical therapy practices and technologies is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
