Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of an Orthopedic Physical Therapist include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to determine functional limitations.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address specific needs and goals.
• Providing ongoing consultations to healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients.
• Maintaining communication with patients and their families to support treatment adherence and discharge planning.
• Managing patient documentation meticulously, including evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with legal standards.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, ensuring the department operates efficiently and effectively.
• Participating in community outreach and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient engagement.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development through training seminars and workshops to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is primarily on patients dealing with orthopedic injuries and rehabilitation needs. You will have the opportunity to work with a varied demographic, including post-operative patients, athletes recovering from injuries, and older adults experiencing mobility issues. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome all qualified candidates, those with prior experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or a specialty in manual therapy will be given preference. Knowledge of health insurance guidelines and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
