Full-Time Licensed Physical Health Therapist in Orthopedic Rehabilitation

TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center in Morristown, New Jersey, is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite within our rehabilitation center located in Morristown, NJ. You will be working alongside a team of two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), creating a collaborative atmosphere aimed at achieving the best outcomes for our patients. The team dynamic encourages knowledge sharing, mentorship, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient upon admission to identify their unique goals and rehabilitative needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and education on injury prevention.
• Manage a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized attention to each individual.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide cost-effective treatment, aimed at reducing reliance on medications and preventing the need for surgeries.
• Motivate patients through their recovery journey by emphasizing achievable goals and celebrating milestones, fostering a strong sense of empowerment.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Document patient care services meticulously and maintain up-to-date progress notes within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, particularly utilizing WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals with orthopedic conditions seeking rehabilitation following injury or surgery. We cater to a diverse clientele, including athletes, active adults, and older adults, all of whom benefit from tailored rehabilitation programs designed to restore mobility, enhance strength, and improve overall physical performance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Hold a valid physical therapy license in New Jersey, with an unblemished professional record.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing personalized exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Previous involvement in developing wellness programs or fitness initiatives adds value to your candidacy.
• Proven history of motivating patients and achieving successful rehabilitation outcomes will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
