Start Date: 08/10/2026

End Date: 11/07/2026

Shift: 12-Hour Days (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) or (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM) depending on schedule

Hours/Week: 36-40 hours (4-week cycle)

Employment Type: Contract

Licenses/Certifications: Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CDN or CNN preferred

Experience: Minimum 1 year in inpatient dialysis; first-time travelers require 2 years of acute care RN experience

What You'll Do

• Provide dialysis treatments, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients (PD experience not required)
• Access fistulas and dialysis catheters with critical thinking and technical skill
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and care quality
• Work independently and autonomously across multiple facilities including WKMC, Bossier, Pierremont, and South facilities
• Document all care using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Float between facilities and adapt to various patient needs and unit requirements
• Maintain safety and infection control protocols, including proper charting and equipment handling
• Participate in on-call shifts (5-6 per schedule), including 12-hour call days, with weekend and holiday rotations

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• 1+ year inpatient dialysis experience (new grads with 2+ years in acute care encouraged if first-time travelers)
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
• Critical thinking, independence, and excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to float and travel between facilities as needed
