What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care in a high-volume Cath Lab setting, supporting complex interventional procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, and other vascular interventions.
• Float routinely between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Willis Knighton Bossier facilities, with backup at WKMC North for more advanced cases.
• Perform duties including patient monitoring, circulating, scrubbing, and hemodynamic monitoring during cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Administer vasoactive drugs, sedations, and manage critical patient assessments with sterile technique.
• Support procedures involving advanced imaging equipment like Philips systems, IVUS, EKOS, Laser, and ancillary devices.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment; comfortable working with complex patient cases including STEMI, cardiogenic shock, and valvular diseases.

What You Need

• Required:
  • Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum of 3 years RN experience, with substantial recent Cath Lab experience
  • Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate during procedures
  • Valid driver's license (for floating between facilities)
  • Experience with vasoactive drugs, sterile techniques, and complex interventional procedures
• Preferred:
  • Experience with Impella, Rotoblater, IABP, Laser, lithotripsy atherectomy, and related equipment
