What You'll Do

• Provide patient care in a busy Cath Lab, supporting complex interventional procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions.
• Float between multiple facilities in Shreveport, LA, adapting to different unit needs and functions (circulating, scrubbing, monitoring).
• Administer vasoactive drugs, sedations, and evaluate patient status critical conditions.
• Support hybrid interventions like TAVR, MitraClip, PCI, and structural heart procedures.
• Operate imaging systems and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiology and charge nurses.

What You Need

Required:

• Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Valid driver's license for facility float shifts
• Minimum 1 year recent RN experience, particularly in Cath Lab settings
• Ability to scrub and circulate during complex cardiovascular procedures

Preferred:

• Experience with Impella, IABP, laser lithotripsy, atherectomy devices, and VADs
• Prior experience with Meditech Expanse EMR and advanced imaging systems
• Experience supporting cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures

About the Assignment This travel RN opportunity is based at a leading hospital in Shreveport, LA, featuring hybrid suites and busy Cath Labs supporting both diagnostic and complex interventional procedures. You will float among different facilities, providing vital support during high-acuity cardiac interventions and supporting the hospital's dynamic cardiovascular program. Training includes a one-week orientation at the Innovation Center, with additional precepting as needed.
