Substance Use Counselor
Alpha Home Health and Hospice
Position: Substance Use Disorder Counselor Role: Provide individual and group counseling for clients overcoming addiction, conduct assessments, screenings, and treatment planning. Deliver case management, coordinate community support services, and maintain accurate clinical documentation to support clients' recovery and stability. Responsibilities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners. Participate in clinical supervision, training, and professional development. Support clients in achieving personal recovery goals. Qualifications & Skills Valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential. Associate's degree in human services or related field; bachelor's preferred. Knowledge of addiction, recovery, counseling, and case management principles. Experience with justice-involved populations is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Benefits & Perks Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility.
