Position Overview

State Farm agents market only State Farm insurance and financial service products. Must have an active producer's license!

Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
• Must be in office for training in the first 3-4 months, flexible thereafter.

Requirements

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• People-oriented
• Self-motivated
• Able to learn computer functions
• Ability to make presentations to potential customers
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
• Property and Casualty license- MUST HAVE
• Life and Health license (must have or be able to obtain)
• Position may require travel
• Position may require irregular working hours
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
