Human Resources Specialist (Compensation)

Duties
The duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Provides expert advice on, and interpretation of, human resources rules and regulations, laws, and procedures so that a well-regulated salary and wage program is maintained to conform with applicable
- Provides expert advice on a broad range of complex pay laws, regulations, policies and procedures and the applicability to various types of employment, tours of duty, leave entitlements, pay entitlement
- Analyzes operational effects of new or existing regulations, recommends new or updated policies, and develops or revises procedures and implements as necessary.
- Provides technical advice and guidance to Leave and Compensation Specialists and Civilian Pay Technicians about a variety of complex problems encountered in work assignments.
- Provides advisory service to management and supervisors on extremely sensitive, complex, or controversial pay and leave issues.
