Job Description As a Security Officer Residential Roving Patrols in Rochdale, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service and communication to tenants and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMTue04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the commercial property, including building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unauthorized access, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required. Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid New York State security guard license. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
