Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Console Response in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM Fri 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM Sat 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail café location, including dining areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Assist with documenting incidents and communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
