Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to work from home while engaging with clients through virtual platforms. Even though you will primarily work remotely, there may be opportunities to collaborate with team members at our hospice center in Kansas City. This setup encourages a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life, enabling you to tailor your work hours–including evenings and weekends–to accommodate client needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments that provide an in-depth understanding of clients' mental health challenges, resources, and strengths.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that outline specific goals and interventions to facilitate client progress.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning as necessary, maintaining a high standard of care.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and ongoing support groups tailored to the varied needs of our clients.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role predominantly serves clients facing mental health issues associated with their terminal or chronic conditions within a hospice context. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
