Job Title: Accounting Associate

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid after training)

Compensation: $70,000-$75,000 DOE
Position Overview

A growing family office and business advisory organization is seeking an Accounting Associate to support accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting activities for a portfolio of clients and related entities.

This role offers exposure to a variety of accounting functions and is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients while supporting both business and personal financial operations.

This role is ideal for someone coming from:

* Public Accounting

* Client Accounting Services (CAS)
* Bookkeeping services
* Small CPA firms
* Multi-client accounting environments

Core Responsibilities

* Lead bookkeeping and accounting services for clients and business entities
* Prepare and review financial statements and reports
* Perform account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
* Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
* Support tax filings and estimated tax calculations
* Enter and validate financial data for new and existing clients
* Assist with audits and special projects as needed
* Maintain strong communication with clients and internal team members
Required Qualifications

* 3-5+ years of bookkeeping and accounting experience
* Experience with QuickBooks and/or Bill.com required
* Strong understanding of accounting procedures and financial reporting
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
