Hospice Medical Director
Akron, Ohio Contract Position
Our client in Akron is in need of a Hospice Medical Director to lead the medical team for their hospice program.
Responsibilities include providing medical guidance, supporting hospice eligibility decisions, and ensuring the quality of physician services.
This position is on a contract basis.
Requirements
- Must hold a MD or DO degree.
- Active Ohio medical license.
- Experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare hospice guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have a mix of solid medical judgment and a team-oriented approach to hospice care.
Board certification in a related specialty is a plus.
Contract Details
Specific details about patient volume, compensation, and other expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
