HOSPICE MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Hospice Medical DirectorAkron, Ohio — Contract PositionOur client in Akron is in need of a Hospice Medical Director to lead the medical team for their hospice program.Responsibilities include providing medical guidance, supporting hospice eligibility decisions, and ensuring the quality of physician services.This position is on a contract basis.RequirementsMust hold a MD or DO degree.Active Ohio medical license.Experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred.Knowledge of Medicare hospice guidelines.Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Preferred QualificationsIdeal candidate will have a mix of solid medical judgment and a team-oriented approach to hospice care.Board certification in a related specialty is a plus.Contract DetailsSpecific details about patient volume, compensation, and other expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
