Director of Revenue Management

About the Job:
We are seeking a Director of Revenue Management to lead the strategic development and execution of revenue optimization initiatives across The Seagate Hotel, Golf and Beach Club. This role is responsible for maximizing total revenue and profitability through effective pricing, inventory management, distribution strategy, and demand forecasting across guest rooms, group business, and ancillary revenue streams.

Reporting directly to the General Manager with a dotted-line relationship to the VP of Commercial Strategy, the Director of Revenue Management serves as the property's in-house revenue management expert and trusted business advisor. Working closely with Sales, Catering, Marketing, and Operations, this leader translates market intelligence, performance analytics, and competitive insights into actionable revenue strategies that drive business results. The Director also provides regular reporting and performance updates to corporate leadership, ownership groups, and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the organization's commercial objectives and financial goals.

What You Do:

• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly pace, pickup, booking patterns, and market trends to identify revenue opportunities, need periods, and obstacles to achieving goals
• Review weekly and monthly STR/STAR data to evaluate strategy performance, assess competitive positioning, and identify opportunities to capture available market share
• Maintain accurate rates, restrictions, and inventory across CI-TY and connected distribution channels
• Monitor distribution channels regularly for rate parity, positioning accuracy, availability, and competitor pricing behavior
• Develop the annual room revenue budget and monthly reforecasts in partnership with the General Manager and VP of Commercial Strategy
• Prepare clear and timely reports, forecasts, and presentations for ownership, corporate leadership, and property leadership
• Own pricing, segmentation, channel, and inventory strategy across transient, group, and contract business
• Identify total revenue opportunities across rooms, Beach Club, Golf, and ancillary operations to maximize overall asset profitability
• Lead the weekly revenue strategy meeting and provide data-driven recommendations on rates, group displacement, restrictions, and channel mix
• Lead daily business review meetings with Sales and Catering to align on pace, pickup, short-term priorities, and group opportunities
• Implement, evaluate, and adjust revenue strategies as market conditions, seasonality, demand generators, and group activity shift
• Review group quotes and contract terms to ensure pricing aligns with transient demand, profitability goals, and displacement analysis
• Move the property from a reactive to a proactive revenue posture by anticipating demand shifts and recommending timely strategic actions
• Communicate market direction, brand initiatives, demand analysis, and revenue strategy to the General Manager, VP of Commercial Strategy, Sales, and hotel leadership
• Build collaborative relationships with Sales and Catering to align rate strategy with group and transient booking goals
• Maintain strong relationships with vendor partners, OTA and B2B partners, and Marriott contacts to optimize distribution, visibility, and contribution
• Present revenue performance, forecasts, and strategy updates at owner meetings and support ad hoc analysis for ownership, corporate, and board-level forums
• Serve as the property's in-house revenue management expert, building long-term knowledge of The Seagate market, guest base, demand patterns, and revenue opportunities
• Stay current on revenue management systems, tools, distribution trends, and industry best practices through ongoing professional development
• Perform additional duties and analysis as assigned by leadership

What You Bring to the Table:

• 4-year bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive revenue management experience in a full-service hotel, luxury hotel, resort, or multi-property environment
• Experience with Marriott or comparable brand revenue management systems and distribution platforms strongly preferred
• Familiarity with STR/STAR reporting and RevPAR Index analysis required
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret pace, pickup, segmentation, channel, and market data
• Ability to translate data analysis into clear pricing, inventory, and distribution recommendations
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain revenue concepts clearly to leadership, ownership, and cross-functional partners
• Collaborative approach with the ability to build productive relationships across Sales, Catering, Marketing, Operations, vendors, and ownership stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• High level of professionalism, business judgment, and accountability for revenue performance outcomes
