Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for a diverse clientele across the pediatric, adult, and geriatric spectrum using a blend of standardized tests and observational methods.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans addressing immediate goals as well as long-term communication and swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy focused on enhancing fluency, language, voice, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and doctors to ensure holistic care.
• Educate patients and their families to reinforce therapeutic goals outside the clinical setting.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and therapy as needed, ensuring consistent care throughout the patient journey.
• Document patient progress thoroughly and in accordance with state, federal, and institutional guidelines.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay at the forefront of the field.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred if not already ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly desirable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification should be obtained within 30 days of hiring.
