Inside Account Manager

Responsibilities Engage in a high level of customer service through delivering quotation responses, handling customer discrepancies, receiving and maintaining customer orders while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. Develop and sustain effective supplier and customer relationships to assure a competitive position in the marketplace. Work closely with the Territory Manager to maintain lists of prospects and potentially new accounts to grow new business and achieve established budget targets. Maximize productivity by effectively planning, organizing, and managing workload. Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates. Communicate with Territory Manager to assist in developing sales campaigns to accommodate goals of assigned customers. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in any specialty is preferred. No metal industry or sales experience necessary; we are happy to provide full training. Possess effective communication skills, including verbal and written. Must have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Willingness to learn proprietary program known as Metalware. Displays effective use of time management skills. Knowledge of basic math skills is essential.
