Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for individuals, couples, and families to identify emotional and relational issues.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances.

• Facilitating joint and individual therapy sessions, ensuring each member of a family is supported and heard.

• Addressing a range of issues, including but not limited to: marital conflicts, grief and loss, blended family dynamics, communication difficulties, and job-related stress.

• Developing treatment plans in collaboration with clients and maintaining accurate client records through electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and new therapeutic methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve helping couples, families, and individuals facing mental health challenges. You will help clients navigate significant life transitions, including separation and divorce, adjustment issues, and conflicts between family members. Your expertise will empower clients to better understand and resolve their relational dynamics and individual emotional struggles, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Active License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia.

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum experience is two years, familiarity with evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a strong plus. Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in therapy are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our compensation package includes:
