Business Development Representative – Deer Park, TX Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the world’s top-recognized brands and companies, is actively seeking a Business Development Representative to join our Caleb Brett team at our Deer Park, TX facility. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for existing and potential clients, playing a critical role in generating new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a passion for sales, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build relationships quickly. Shift / Schedule 8 am to 5 pm CDT, Mon Thru Fri, with occasional nights and weekends Travel: This position will travel at least 90% of the time. What You’ll Do: Marketing and selling of inspection and laboratory testing services Represent the company daily to clients and, as required, on business occasions related to marketing services (i.e., trade show participation) Support sales management plans by maintaining effective customer relations and assuring continued market penetration and profitability through in-depth calls to end users to achieve sales objectives Identify and evaluate possible new markets and new customers for existing products Identify and evaluate possible new products that fit our capabilities related to issues such as pricing and product availability Evaluate and report customer feedback; resolve customer service-related issues such as pricing and product availability Generate contracts, quotes, and orders for customers as required, utilizing internal business processes Provide input for sales forecast (quarterly / yearly) Generate monthly sales activity log through client tracking system Review pricing of products as required and discuss client feedback relative to the industry Participate in the development of quality marketing materials Implement customer-specific action plans Travel to visit customers and/or industry events Introduce new products and services to the accounts, both within the Caleb Brett division and unilaterally to all other divisions Develop new customers and perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager Perform other work as required Minimum Requirements & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a reliable driving record Preferred Requirements & Qualifications 2+ years of Petroleum Logistics or Sales experience preferred Proficient use of Microsoft Applications including PowerPoint, Publisher, etc. Self-Starter with Excellent Communication, Organizational, Interpersonal, Time Management, and Selling Skills Intertek is a drug-free workplace.
