Sr Staff Accountant

Job Title: Sr Staff Accountant Address: JCB205, ST Job Description Maintaining financial records by processing daily, weekly, and monthly transactions to ensure books balance. Insuring proper funding for daily ACH or wire settlements with external clients, servicers, or vendors. Resolving errors through complex reconciliations and processing adjusting entries to maintain accurate general ledger records. Developing and maintaining accounting procedures and identifying process gaps and efficiencies. Applying GAAP and internal accounting policies for expense and income recognition. Ensuring proper controls for all processes and recommending improvements as necessary. Preparing reporting for internal presentations or external delivery. Critical Information Onsite - works 5 days in the office. Education/Licenses Needed BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance required. 3-5 years of professional experience in an operational and/or accounting/finance role.
