Work Environment\n

This position is based in a remote outpatient office, providing you the chance to work independently while being part of a collaborative team. You will have access to various digital tools and telehealth platforms to facilitate virtual sessions effectively. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a well-balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet clients' specific needs, goals, and preferences.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate clients' progress towards their mental health objectives.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor and document client progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on their evolving needs and circumstances.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapeutic practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records following legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest level of professionalism in documentation.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to facilitate peer support and professional development.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, working to reduce stigma and improve access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. It is essential to engage empathetically with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who have experienced trauma, homelessness, or domestic violence. Your role will involve not only individual therapy sessions but also group therapy to provide community support and shared experiences among clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
