You'll be working two days per week for a total of 16 hours, supporting K-12 students as part of a collaborative educational environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current New York State SLP license is required
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Adept at collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable adapting therapy approaches for diverse student populations
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12 (specific grades to be determined)
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals
• Document progress, communicate effectively with staff and families, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Screen, assess, and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions that help students achieve their goals
• Offer resources and training for educators and families to support students’ continued progress outside of therapy
