As a Full Time Physician Assistant (PA), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Miami, FL.


We are offering a sign-on bonus of $10k for this position.

Work schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

What You'll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements.
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring
Education:

• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice.
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable).
• Current NCCPA national certification required.
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration).
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.

Experience:

• At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
• Training skills a plus.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and work-flow management skills preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $130,400 - $163,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
