Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role is strongly preferred
• Understanding of classroom procedures and ability to assist with lesson plans
• Comfort working one-on-one or in small groups with diverse learners, including those with special needs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to follow directions and collaborate with teachers and school staff
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education or related field a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with daily activities and classroom management
• Provide instructional support to students individually and in small groups
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as directed
• Supervise students during transitions, meal breaks, and recess periods
• Prepare instructional materials and help keep classroom organized
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development as needed
