Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience assisting in classroom settings or working with children or adolescents
• Understanding of special education needs and willingness to work with diverse learners
• Ability to follow teacher direction while using sound judgment in day-to-day interactions
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, students, and families
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students during instructional and non-instructional activities
• Assist with one-on-one or small group tutoring, adapting materials or assignments as needed
• Supervise students and assist with behavior management and engagement
• Support classroom teachers with daily activities and individualized education programs (IEPs) where applicable
• Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom environment
