Qualifications & Skills:

• Hold valid state certification in Special Education Teaching
• Experience working with elementary grade levels (K-5) preferred
• Expertise in adapting instructional materials to diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Awareness and sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by special education students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction, adhering to IEP goals and district standards
• Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to a variety of learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive learning experiences
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress reports and IEP compliance
• Participate in ongoing professional development and meetings with interdisciplinary teams
